EXPERIENCE

Teaching: University of Oregon 1984, Department of Architecture, joint architecture /landscape architecture studio with Rob Thallon and Ron Lovinger. University of Oregon 1973-74, Department of Architecture graduate teaching fellow for the Workshop curriculum designing and constructing 4 projects on the University of Oregon campus. 

University of Kentucky 1972, College of Architecture visiting lecturer in Building Systems and Structural Analysis. 

Relevant Professional: 1997 to present;  Sole practitioner, David Edrington, Architect 1980 to 2025; 
partner in Thallon and Edrington Architects, Eugene, Oregon. 1976-1980; 
partner in Threshold Architects, Eugene, Oregon 1974-1976; 
designer and research assistant in the Office of Campus Planning, University of Oregon, assisting in the implementation of The Oregon Experiment.  Worked with many campus user groups on diagnosis and repair projects.

 1970-1972;  urban designer, Pralltown Urban Renewal Project, Lexington, Kentucky.  Worked with low income neighborhood to develop first HUD neighborhood urban renewal project.
